Definition 2026-06-30 pC bin [Input: ZK630pC.j]
Description (summary) 2026-06-30 pC The structure has an irregular semicircular (half-moon) plan and is constructed of both stone and mudbrick. Its northern side is defined by a stone-and-mudbrick wall, the eastern portion of which forms a rectangular platform measuring 2.60 × 1.30 m. Several tannurs were found on this platform. Its orientation differs slightly from that of the underlying stone wall, indicating that it represents a later constructional element. The southern and eastern sides are enclosed by a semicircular stone-and-mudbrick wall, while the western side is delimited by two medium-sized stones aligned north–south. The walls are founded on a base of small and medium-sized undressed stones. Access to the structure was provided from the north, where three large angular stones with dressed upper surfaces served as low entrance steps leading down into the interior. The floor of the interior differs in its eastern and western portions. In the east, it consists of a highly compacted mud surface, whereas the western part is paved with small pebbles containing occasional pottery sherds. A floor surface surrounding the structure was also identified. It slopes gently towards the south. [Input: ZK630pC.j]
